This comprehensive online course satisfies the handgun competence/training requirement under Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 166.291 for applicants seeking a Concealed Handgun License. Upon successful completion and receipt of your certificate, you may present it to your county sheriff’s office as proof of firearms safety training when applying for your Oregon CHL. The course is designed to meet and exceed the statutory requirements for demonstrating competence with a handgun.
